Chrysostomos Filippou is an Information Technology Management professional with over 13 years of experience in overseeing IT projects and programs on a national scale. His strong business acumen, combined with his leadership and communication skills, enabled him to successfully lead the Information Security Unit of the Cyprus General Healthcare System (GESY) via NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) for over three years.
Currently, he serves as the Country Manager at Elovate, where he is instrumental in implementing Cyprus's largest road and safety program. Additionally, he is an active member of CEN-CENELEC JTC 19 ‘Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies’.
Driven by a desire to harness technology for effective and secure business use, Chrysostomos inspires organizations to look beyond traditional IT functions and revolutionize their technological practices. He excels in leadership roles, bridging the gap between IT and business seamlessly.
Maintaining a physically active lifestyle is of utmost importance to Chrysostomos. He enjoys running, swimming, cycling, and hiking. As a competitive swimmer in his teenage years, he achieved numerous awards, including national records and participation in international athletic events.
